Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy outlines how FreeRoam processes, dispatches, and delivers orders within New Zealand.



1. Order Processing Time


In-Stock Items
Orders for in-stock products are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.


Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.



2. Delivery Timeframes (New Zealand)

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
 • North Island: 2–4 business days
 • South Island: 3–6 business days
 • Rural deliveries: Please allow an additional 1–2 business days


Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier demand, weather, or public holidays.



3. Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are clearly identified on the product page with an estimated dispatch month.
 • Estimated dispatch timeframes are provided at the time of purchase.
 • Delivery timing begins once the item has been dispatched.
 • Customers will receive tracking information once their order ships.


If there is a significant delay beyond the advertised dispatch timeframe, customers will be notified and may request a refund.



4. Shipping Costs


Shipping costs (if applicable) are displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Where a promotion includes free shipping, this applies to standard NZ delivery only.



5. Tracking Information

Once dispatched, customers will receive a tracking number via email.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure delivery details are accurate at checkout.



6. Delivery Responsibility

FreeRoam remains responsible for your order until it is delivered to the address provided at checkout.

If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit:
 • Please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
 • We will work with the courier to investigate and resolve the issue.
 • Where required under the Consumer Guarantees Act, a replacement or refund will be provided.



7. Delivery Issues


We are not responsible for:
 • Delays caused by courier networks, weather events, or public holidays.
 • Incorrect delivery details provided at checkout.
 • Unattended deliveries where the courier confirms successful delivery.


If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect details or failed delivery attempts, re-shipping fees may apply.



8. Warehouse Location

Orders are dispatched from our Auckland warehouse.



9. International Shipping
Currently, FreeRoam only ships within New Zealand only unless otherwise stated.
